If you’re not doing anything, stop by our parent congregation, Archbold EMC (300 Park St.). We’re hosting a “Fall Frenzy” for all ages. Inflatables, food, and a bunch of other goodies. . . It’s basically a big ol’ outdoor party on a Tuesday night. 5:30-7:30.

VOX is embarking on a Nieu Communities Road Trip, July 14-27, 2007 in Glascow, Scotland. Cost is $600 plus airfare. Email Drew ASAP if you’re interested.
Scotland is a perfect location for such a trip. It offers a new cultural perspective, but without a language barrier. It also provides a chance to see how churches in Europe are impacting their surrounding culture for Christ. These are lessons that we can take back with us to our context, here in NW Ohio.
Why a NieuCommunities Road Trip? Good question. I’m glad you asked.
There it is. Now…will people be helped as a result of our time in Scotland? Will we have opportunities to speak truth into peoples lives? Will we accomplish things? Of course. But the focus is different. The focus is listening, discernment, and transformation.
Pray about it. Talk about it. And sign up.

The Haps
Getting’ Dirty: VOX Gathering. Tomorrow night (Thursday), 7pm, The Wherehouse. We’re going to talk more in detail about the changes here at VOX, and we’re going to look at getting’ dirty in serving others. A special guest appearance by Jesse ‘The Body’ Kahler, worship, prayer, and a sufficient amount of dirt…so I would suggest not wearing white pants. You’ll just be angry…
VOX Word is going to be different this week. During our normal time, AEMC is having a communication meeting regarding our building/stewardship campaign. If you’re a member of AEMC, you should definitely attend this meeting. 9:45, Sunday, AEMC.
Mark Your Calendars
The Feast: One of the major changes at VOX is a monthly feast. Every second Sunday young adults will gather to share a meal together. Singles, couples, and the confused in-between…all are welcome. Our first ‘feast’ will be Sunday, Nov. 12, 6 pm, at the Moser homestead. From then on, locations will vary from month to month. This is the new ‘on-ramp’ into the VOX community, so invite your friends. If possible, RSVP to me. If not, then still come regardless…Here’s a google map to our house (602 Brussel St. )
Culture Shapers: “Stop reacting to culture. Start shaping it.” Starting Nov. 2nd, we’re going to revamp and replant our VOX Gatherings. We’re going to move the Gathering into homes, completely rework the format, and look at how we can shape the culture of NW Ohio, as opposed to just reacting to it. This new series of Gatherings will start at the Moser house (602 Brussel); same day (Thursday), same time (7pm)
Road Trip: Scotland: We’re heading on a road trip to Scotland. Seriously. Ok, so we’ll fly there but WHILE we’re there, we’ll be road tripping it. July 14-27, 2007. Glascow, Scotland. Interested. Check out this link and talk to Drew for more details:
